The Ford Fusion Hybrid is not yet available for delivery, but that is pending in late 2008 or early 2009. This eco-friendly rental will be available from eQocar as soon as the factory begins deliveries. It is anticipated that the new hybrid version of the Ford Fusion will utilize a 4-cylinder gasoline engine and an electric drive motor with NiMH battery power. The Ford Fusion hybrid should be a solid competitor for the Toyota Camry hybrid and the Toyota Prius hybrid.
