The Ford Escape Hybrid makes it possible to enjoy the cargo capacity and go-anywhere capabilities of an SUV without sacrificing meals to fill the gas tank. This green rental has all the popular features of the conventional Ford Escape with added eco-friendly characteristics and a rating of 34 MPG in city driving that comes from hybrid technology. This is a full hybrid SUV capable of running completely on electric power at up to 25 MPH. At higher speeds, the 70 kW electric motor is joined by the 2.3 Liter 4-Cylinder gasoline engine. Together, they deliver 155 HP, more than adequate to handle all daily driving situations. Detailed specifications are not yet available.
